VRCPrismStudio is a framework that allows you to change the position, angle, and settings of your favorite avatar camera gimmick in real-time, allowing you to use shooting techniques that are not possible with the existing VRChat.


You can also create your own camera system by building on top of the VRCPrismStudio. Whether you use Cinemachine to use the functionality of Cinemachine, write your own C# scripts to create your own shooting techniques, or record animations to use predetermined camera movements, the possibilities are endless with VRCPrismStudio.

  • VRCPrismStudio integrated Unity Project
    • Contains the core VRCPrismStudio SDK. Requires Unity 2022.3.6f1. Using the PrismStudio Unity Project, you can even make standalone application! (license applied)
  • UniversalPatcher unitypackage (UniversalPatcher-version.unitypackage)
    • You can use this patcher to modify your favorite (and supported) VRChat avatar camera gimmick).
      • According to VRCLens ToS, users are allowed to make modifications. Since this patcher does not contain VRCLens original files and it only adds modification to the existing VRCLens, so there's no issue with using VRCLensPatcher.
      • As well as VirtualLens2, since this patcher does not contain VirtualLens2 original files and it only adds modification to the existing VirtualLens2, so there should be no issues with using VirtualLens2Patcher.


Preparation

To use VRCPrismStudio, the following conditions must be met:

  • Have a license of VRCPrismStudio
  • Have a license of desired (and supported) VRChat camera gimmick (official purchase through booth.pm / Gumroad / other official distributors. No illegal copies allowed)
